Whose Line is it Anyway is a popular improvisational theatre show, best known from the multiple seasons on TV in the UK and USA. However this show with Clive Anderson and the team actually started on BBC radio as a 6 half hour episode series in 1988.

With guests like Stephen Fry, Dawn French, Lenny Henry and Griff Rhys Jones, Whose Line is it Anyway was brimming with comedy talent and the associated laughs you would expect from such a lineup.

Subsequent seasons were televised, adding physical comedy to the mix, but the radio series holds a special place and showcases improvisational radio theatre at its best.
