Carter Brandon and Uncle Mort share a wicked sense of humour, that they take with them on a tour of Northern Britain (the home of upfront, say it as you see it bluntness).Their adventures will have you chuckling out aloud, particularly Uncle Morts dry sense of humour. There is no denying the fact that Peter Tinniswood was a master creative writer, providing plenty of mirth and laughter with his genius comic characters. Any Peter Tinniswood novel is worth a read, but especially those involving the Brandon family.
