Les Kelly hosts a magazine show from hell.

Les is a cross between Jeremy Kyle and a slap in the face. He claims this is the only radio show for ‘normal, decent people’. ‘If you aren’t decent, this is not the show for you,’ says Les.

Les meets a father whose daughter needs a new kidney. Well, perhaps ‘need’ isn’t quite the right word. She just wants one more kidney than all her friends.

Les also meets an expert on sanglanding. It’s the dangerous new craze amongst young people – trouble is, no on knows what it is.

Les is meeting Britain’s first firm of emergency yodelers, a woman whose claim to fame is that she can walk backwards, and a man with such an embarrassing medical condition that Les refuses to have him on the show.

Les asks whether able bodied people should have the same rights as the disabled when it comes to having mobility scooters, guide dogs and hearing aides?

And meet the preacher whose religious education lessons involves twisting balloons into the shape of Moses and Jesus, and a woman with an obsessive hatred of Belgians.

He claims this is the only radio show for ‘normal, decent people’. ‘If you aren’t normal or decent, this is not the show for you,’ says Les.

Coming up, Les talks to Britain’s only male nun, a man who only speaks using sound effects – and answers the question: what is the world coming to?

Kevin Bishop stars as Les Kelly.
